A new English National Opera production of Wozzeck opens in London tomorrow. Directed by critically-acclaimed Carrie Cracknell and conducted by Edward Gardner, it will be the first ENO production of Alban Berg’s opera in 25 years. The English National Opera’s new production of Ralph Vaughan William’s opera The Pilgrim’s Progress opened last night (5th Nov) at The London Coliseum.
This is the first full professional staging of the opera in the UK since 1951 when it premiered at Covent Garden.

ENGLISH NATIONAL OPERA’S new production of Benjamin Britten’s opera BILLY BUDD opens on 18 June at the London Coliseum. From the award-winning team behind ENO’s Peter Grimes this production reunites director David Alden and conductor Edward Gardner for the first time since 2009.
