The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee

Here at Lebrecht we are getting ready for a marvellous Jubilee weekend, and we decided to go through some of our old-time favourite images of the Queen. Here is a brief selection:

Thames Diamond Jubilee

Following in the footsteps of King George I‘s royal procession and concert on the River Thames in 1717, we’ll be looking out for one of the ten music barges at the Thames Diamond Jubilee paegent this Sunday, where the Academy of Ancient Music will be performing Handel’s Water Music.
