I had the most amazing experience when I was 2 years old. I listen to his recording of Mozart Symphony # 40 in G minor and fell in love with it. I only wish I could here this recording again now!

I heard the very same program by the same musicians last week in Stockholm, the hometown of this orchestra. If the Proms public enjoyed it just as much as I did, they had a great evening. Oramo is a wonderful conductor who really understands the emotionally far from undercooled Sibelius VI as well as the extinguishable Nielsen IV. And in between, Alice Sara Ott did a beautiful Grieg. The ‘encore’ was Alfvén’s Mountain King, a dazzling orchestral showpiece. I hope they played it at the Proms too.
